Dr. Sergio Lopes Viana is a musculoskeletal radiologist in Brasília, Brazil, a member of the International Skeletal Society and the Brazilian College of Radiology. He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Piauí (Teresina, 1995), completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Pernambuco (Recife, 1997), and in Radiology at the Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal (Brasília, 2000). He is co-author of the books "Manual de diagnóstico por imagem em reumatologia" (Dilivros, 2024), “Joint imaging in childhood and adolescence” (Springer, 2013 [1st ed] and 2019 [2nd ed]) and Diagnóstico por imagem em reumatologia” (Guanabara-Koogan, 2007). He has also authored six book chapters and dozens of articles in both national and international journals, and he was a guest speaker at radiology, orthopedics, and rheumatology events worldwide. Dr. Bruno Beber Machado is a musculoskeletal radiologist in the Brazilian State of Espírito Santo and a full member of the Brazilian College of Radiology. He graduated in Medicine from the Superior School of Sciences of Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória (Vitória) in 1998 and did his residency in Radiology at the Fluminense Federal University (Niterói, 2002), with a master's degree in Radiology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro, 2002). He is co-author of the books "Manual of diagnostic imaging in rheumatology" (Dilivros, 2024) and “Joint imaging in childhood and adolescence” (Springer, 2013 [1st ed] and 2019 [2nd ed]). He has also written 3 book chapters and several articles in national and international journals.
